Shibuya Bon Odori Festival (Shibuya Bon Odori)

  2. Overview: The scramble crossing in front of Shibuya 109 becomes a Bon Odori venue for one night only. Tourists are welcome to jump in and join in this open-air summer event.

Edogawa Fireworks Festival

  2. Overview: Approximately 4,000 large fireworks reflected on the waterfront of the Edogawa River. Be sure to reserve your spot early!

Shimokitazawa Awa Odori (Shimokitazawa Awa Dance)

  2. Overview: Rhythms echo through the alleys of Shimokitazawa, an artistic district. For two days, the whole town becomes a stage.

Koenji Awa Odori (Koenji Awa Dance)

Summer Comiket (Summer Comic Market)

  2. Overview: The world’s largest fanzine and cosplay event. Tokyo Big Sight will be transformed into a “sacred place for anime” for two days.
